A handwoven Turkish peshtemal with a story behind every stripe.
This 100% cotton towel features the traditional Makaslı Keşan pattern from Turkey's Eastern Black Sea region. Woven on a traditional wooden hand loom in rich Claret Red tones, it combines an old textile tradition with a versatile towel made for modern everyday use.
I have the fabric woven by a skilled local weaver, then hand-knot the fringes myself, giving each piece its final handmade touch.
LIGHTWEIGHT, ABSORBENT & QUICK DRYING
Made from 100% cotton, it is highly absorbent, lightweight and quick drying. It folds compactly into a beach bag or suitcase and its generous size also makes it beautiful as a sarong or pareo.
